The superior biocompatibility to the bone is attributed to the RBM (Restorable Blasting Media) surface treatment that uses HA (Hydroxyapatite), which is a major inorganic component (calcium phosphate) of bone and teeth. Surface cleanliness is one of the most important factors in successful implant surgeries. Through the MEGEGEN automatic cleaning system, MEGAGEN produces clean implants which are perfectly free from residual substances, including organic contaminants. To minimize the screw loosening phenomenon created by repeated biting force, the implant Hex tolerance is controlled to less than 5㎛. Processing was conducted for Hex where the connection of fixture and prosthesis is made to control the rotational angle between two structures to be within 3˚.
